Where did the name “Dalewood” come from?
Dalewood Wealth Management was named after a small park located in Nick’s childhood neighborhood. This park and its namesake, Dalewood Drive, were central features of “The Downs” neighborhood of Orinda , CA. Constructed in 1993, Dalewood Park came to represent a feeling of independence for kids in the neighborhood while also providing the security of being nestled amongst friends and neighbors.
Orinda is known for its oak-strewn, rolling grassy hills. Thus, dales—wide, gently sloping valleys—are a common geographic feature. Dalewood Drive was constructed within such a wooded dale and served as a primary corridor in and out of the Orinda Downs.
